A generic statement that a game or supplier is certified does not establish that the proposed configuration matches the report.

Integration changes also matter. The Commission expects testing to reflect the intended live environment and describes additional testing when platform or RNG changes could affect fairness. B2C licensees using B2B content must maintain an up-to-date games register. For an applicable British deployment, buyers should establish who supplies the evidence and manages release changes.

Malta’s outsourcing framework supplies a complementary governance lesson. The MGA’s published policy announcement requires authorised persons to assign a suitably knowledgeable employee with overall responsibility for the outsourced relationship and the ability to challenge supplier performance. That is a specific Maltese requirement, rather than a universal rule inferred from a supplier’s international presence.

Turn these examples into an evidence request: the contracting entity, applicable permissions, relevant test reports, integration responsibilities, change notifications and named escalation contacts. During a demonstration, follow one failed round and one interrupted withdrawal through the systems involved. Ask who can investigate, correct the state and communicate with the operator’s support team.

Finally, compare the cost of operating and leaving the arrangement. Request assumptions for implementation, support, additional integrations and data export, with unresolved items recorded beside the price.
